Shocking footage! Police shoot Vrútky school stabber
A surveillance camera recorded the moment a police officer had to shoot the Vrútky school stabber after he attacked his partner.
The footage, obtained by Marzíka, shows that just seconds before the shooting, peaceful pedestrians were walking down the sidewalk and as they hurry away once they spot the chasing, reported Brutál Paraméter.
Ivan Č. (22), was a former student of the Vrútky school. On Thursday, June 11, he arrived at the school with a knife, he broke the window on one of the doors, and once he was in, he started stabbing and cutting everyone he could reach.
The Vice-Principal of the school, Jaroslav Budz (62), tried to stop Ivan with the janitor, but Ivan stabbed Jaroslav to death, the janitor also sustained several stabs and cut wounds.
Ivan then headed for a classroom nearby, where he wounded the Principal and two 9-year-old students. He tried to flee after that and was chased by the wounded janitor.

The police were chasing after him for about 200 meters and wanted to arrest him. However, as they caught up to him, Ivan Č. started to defend himself with his knife.
As the video shows, the police were at first aiming for the perpetrator’s legs, but Ivan Č. attacked his partner, so he shot again. The bullets which hit the ground instead of Ivan Č. bounced back and wounded the two police officers, who fell to the ground.
According to the Mayor of Vrútky, Branislav Zacharides, Ivan Č. was never a problematic student, and the principal did not know of any issues he might have had with the school.
